As an author, I have had the privilege, luck and joy to write across many formats. From contributing to nationals like The Metro & The Mirror, to Attitude and Gay Times, on topics such as pride, queer mental health, community and shame.
My debut Young Adult non-fiction book, Queer Up, An Uplifting Guide to LGBTQ+ Love, Life and Mental Health was released in 2022 to hitting a number 1 spot and selling out. Money raised from the sales of Queer Up go to supporting Shout 85258 crisis line. Other mental health writing has seen me contribute to It's Not Okay To Feel Blue (and other lies) a mental health compendium with essays from many different people, including Dame Emma Thompson, Emilia Clarke and Matt Haig.
In 2023, I was invited to be one of the Judge's for the BBC Young Writers' Awards, in collaboration with the University of Cambridge.
As an academic writer, my work has been published in the US by Harvard University (HLS 15-12).
